We return to Scotland occasionally--were there last summer as we ended a month in Europe (30th wedding anniversary trip), and would be interested in hearing from old classmates. email me if you can as I do not often get the time to cruise these sites. firstname.lastname@example.org Quentin (known by my first name while at school--Paul)

Hellos From: Ian McKemmie Hello, I think I remember you. We lived round the corner in Marchmont Street. I'd be interested to hear from you.
Hello former classmates: I have just recently been reaquainted with a former classmate who, like me, is now resident in Canada. We, Norma
Sutherland, Betty Arnott, and I, Kathleen MacNamara, were reunited in Ottawa while attending an Ontario Theatre Festival. The initial connection was made because Betty and I had registered to attend the Centennial event at the school in Edinburgh.
As is happened, neither of us was able to attend because of health concerns at the time. For Betty and myself, Elma Hannan was our contact. For Norma, Elizabeth Mercer. We hope to visit Scotland for homecoming and would like to have a reunion luncheon with as many of our classmates as possible. Please get in touch. We are all getting on in years so it may be our last chance to remember the way we were and to laugh at the innocence of our age! Thanks, Kathleen MacNamara

I attended BHS during the early 70's. I really couldn't wait to grow up and get out into the real world! Mr. Swan (or Swanny) was one of my teachers (home room). I used to hang out with Gwen Robertson sometimes, and Moira Cruickshank, but I was a bit of a loner and quite honestly, I never really enjoyed my school days. I also had friend called Yasmeen Farooqui and my first boyfriend was Eric Forson (who had a rather embarassing nickname I won't mention here!) I've been living in America for the past 15 years or so, working in real estate and raising 3 children, but have recently divorced and am now returning to Scotland in about a week! I'd really enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers me. (email@example.com)
All the best, Jozi
At Boroughmuir from 1969 to 1973
Hellos From: Philip Izatt I was at Boroughmuir around that time and remember Yasmeen because of her unusual surname. You mention Mr Swan (maths teacher). I was not a fan. Had the belt of him a few times. That was when you had to go to the Bryson Rd annexe for the first two years. 24 November 2011
