Was at 'Muir from 1960 to 1966, and was prefect and house captain of viewforth in '66 and also played rugby for 1stxv.

Lived in Aberdeen for 35 years, where I was involved in the oil industry but retired back to Edinburgh a couple of years ago.

Still see some of the old Rugby boys at Meggetland where I have kept in loose touch over the years but it would be good to hear from any others who knew me at school, particularly as 2016 will be our 50th anniversary of leaving! Be nice to hear from some of the '66 girl prefects and hockey girls!

I came from Sciennes Primary School in 1958 and attended the annexe in Watson Crescent until moving to the 'big school' from third year on.

I am very proud of being a former pupil at Boroughmuir. My three chidren also attended Boroughmuir.  Claire, Monica an Graeme.

Favourite teacher was Miss McGuffog.

Attended Bmuir from 1957 - 1962.  Was House Captain of Viewforth and particularly enjoyed playing in First Eleven Hockey Team with Kath Wishart, Sheila Carmichael, Patsy Grieg, Isobel Currie and Olive Frier etc. Happy memories and still have hockey sticks in garage!!

On the last Monday of every month (except December) the Vassals Coffee Club, yeargroup 62-68, meets in the National Portrait Gallery cafe, Queen Street. This is a follow-on from our fab reunion. There is always room for a couple more........

I would have been seriously disappointed if anyone but Katy had been first on this board. I may be in Scotland tis year, time for a drink, I think!

Attended Boroughmuir 62 to 68,

One of the best decisions of my later life was to participate in the yeargroup reunion in 2012 (50 years since we began at the Annexe!) Many of us have kept in touch, and it has revived old memories and friendships, engendered new friendships and enriched my life.

Fps from other decades take note - it's worth the effort tracking down previous classmates.

Thought I'd get this 1960s forum started. Calling all ex-pupils of the 1962-68 Year Group to help to make this forum active.

Let's spread the word, both locally and globally, and create the opportunity, for those who want it, to have one central point of reference for all our school memories (before we forget them) not only for ourselves but  for the current and future generations of our families.
